SSTP Usage

Any VPN connection requires a client and a server.
Both the client and server must “agree” on the protocol and support the connection.
Traditional Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP) connections do not use SSL/TLS, so SSTP was introduced to improve the security of data transfers and to avoid limitations set up by firewalls that block specific ports.
Unlike PPTP, SSTP uses SSL/TLS, secure key negotiations, and encrypted transfers.
